Josh Jacobs' court date moved to September 10
Josh Jacobs, the Green Bay Packers running back, will appear in court in Brown County, Wisconsin, on September 10 on misdemeanor battery and property-damage charges, a hearing that was moved up from November 17, WLUK reported. CBS Sports reported that Jacobs was charged with Class A misdemeanor battery and property damage stemming from a May incident.
USA Today noted that the NFL placed him on the commissioner’s exempt list, meaning he will miss the start of the 2026 season. NBC Sports quoted Packers general manager Brian Gutekunst as saying the team expects Jacobs to remain on the roster for the 2026 season despite the pending legal case.
