Rockstar's GTA VI gameplay reveal draws nearly 4 million viewers
Eurogamer. net reported that Rockstar Games' first gameplay presentation for Grand Theft Auto VI attracted about 3. 97 million concurrent viewers across streaming platforms, making it the most-watched gaming event of 2026. Earlier, the company disclosed details in a Dazed interview, revealing a new South-American-inspired setting, the ability to play as the couple Jason and Lucia, and heightened world realism.
Eurogamer. net later described seamless character switching, a six-star Wanted system that tracks player appearance and vehicle, and a new Criminal Profile feature that records the context of player actions. The Verge noted that Rockstar released a 27-minute "extended look" on YouTube filmed on PlayStation 5, and co-studio head Rob Nelson said the game will run at 30 fps, with a higher-frame-rate mode still undecided.
