Good Good Golf CEO threatens lawsuit after Callaway cuts ties over ad
Good Good Golf chief Matt Kendrick said on X that the company may pursue legal action after Callaway Golf terminated their partnership over a disputed advertisement that showed a man shoving a woman. The controversy began when Callaway issued a formal apology after a co-branded video depicted a male co-founder pushing a female employee to the ground. The PGA Tour chief later called the ad "concerning" and several sponsors, including Dick's Sporting Goods and Golf Galaxy, stopped selling Good Good Golf products.
Good Good Golf then withdrew its title sponsorship of a PGA Tour event, and Callaway cut ties while pledging a $1 million donation to domestic-violence charities. The fallout also led the Golf Channel to cancel the 2026 season of its reality series Big Break, postponing its return to 2027.
