Rockstar and Take-Two subpoena Microsoft and Discord as GTA 6 leak continues with new strip club footage

Resumen

A seventh video attributed to the anonymous GTA 6 leaker was released, showing a robbery sequence that ends outside a strip club, while the game publisher seeks legal means to identify the source of the leaks.

Take-Two Interactive and Rockstar Games have issued subpoenas to Microsoft and Discord in an effort to trace the individual responsible for a series of unauthorized Grand Theft Auto VI video leaks. The latest clip, posted by the online alias "Cyberleek," depicts a character named Jason robbing two gas stations before being pursued by police and crashing his vehicle. The footage concludes with Jason entering a strip club, though the interior is not shown.

The video carries a watermark referencing a cryptocurrency token promoted by the leaker, which claims a market value target of $3 million. The token is currently valued at about $1.5 million, with recent trading volume of $1.4 million, according to public data.

Rockstar has not confirmed any storyline details from the leaks, but officials have indicated that any further spoilers could impact the upcoming release. The company continues to pursue legal avenues to stop the distribution of the material.

"We are working with law enforcement and relevant platforms to identify and stop the source of these unauthorized disclosures," a Rockstar spokesperson said.

The leak has generated significant online attention, with the new video attracting millions of views despite takedown attempts.
