Apple Watch Series 12, Ultra 4 expected to retain design, add ceramic case, boost performance
Apple is reportedly preparing to launch the Series 12 Apple Watch and the Ultra 4 in Cupertino, with analyst Mark Gurman saying the devices are expected to retain their current designs, add a ceramic case option for the Series 12, and feature a faster processor and enhanced health tracking. Earlier reports indicated that the watches could include a new S-class high-performance chip to support upcoming Siri AI features in watchOS 27, and that the Series 12 may be unveiled at next month’s iPhone event with longer battery life and upgraded health sensors. Additional rumors suggested the Ultra 4 could debut on September 9 with doubled sensor components, possible design tweaks, always-on heart-rate monitoring and two ceramic finishes for both models.
