Kroy Biermann was photographed picking up his 14-year-old son from a football practice in Alpharetta, Georgia, a week after his 15-year-old son was arrested on aggravated sexual assault charges.

Former Atlanta Falcons defensive end Kroy Biermann was observed at a fitness facility in Alpharetta, Georgia, on Saturday collecting his 14-year-old son, Kash, after a football practice. The 40-year-old was photographed wearing a white T-shirt, black jeans and shoes, and appeared to be focused on his mobile phone during the brief outing.

The appearance comes less than a week after Biermann’s eldest son, KJ Biermann Jr., 15, was taken into custody on charges of aggravated sodomy and aggravated sexual battery. Court documents indicate a 15-year-old female classmate alleged that KJ forced sexual acts on her in a co-ed sauna at the Life Time fitness center on April 23. The filing states that security footage showed KJ at the gym, though he did not scan in, and a medical exam the following day found no male DNA evidence.

KJ’s attorney, Jason Sheffield, told reporters that his client is “100% innocent,” citing a polygraph test and alleged prior false accusations by the complainant. He also noted the lack of DNA evidence and described the arrest without bond as “a tragedy.”

Kim Zolciak, KJ’s mother, issued a statement calling the allegations “reckless and deeply troubling,” asserting that her son denies any involvement and that he passed a polygraph and DNA testing. She added that the alleged victim has made similar claims against two other individuals, suggesting the need for careful examination.

KJ remains detained without bond, and a hearing is scheduled for September 1.
