Taylor Sheridan's Ranch Purchase Triggers Paramount Deal, Delays Retirement
Taylor Sheridan said his $330 million purchase of the Four Sixes Ranch in Texas prompted him to sign an exclusive agreement with Paramount Pictures, pushing back his planned retirement from television production. The deal will keep him developing new series for the studio.
Earlier, Sheridan confirmed that the Yellowstone spinoff centered on the same ranch would not be produced, explaining that he did not want to fictionalize a working ranch and its owners. The cancellation was reported by several outlets.
