Robertson calls Din Thomas' apology empty after UFC 330 fallout
Strawweight contender Gillian Robertson said Din Thomas' apology for stepping away from her corner was empty, after his post-fight remarks following her loss at UFC 330 in Las Vegas on 16 August. Thomas, a longtime UFC analyst and coach, announced on 16 August that he would retire from cornering fighters, citing the workload and stress after Robertson's unanimous-decision defeat to Mackenzie Dern.
His decision drew criticism from middleweight champion Sean Strickland, who condemned the move, and UFC veteran Matt Brown described the timing as poorly chosen, though he withheld final judgment. Earlier, Robertson had expressed doubts about Thomas' sincerity, saying she had not responded to his apology and would focus on recovery.
