Medical Examiner Confirms Victims in Hopkins Daycare Murder-Suicide and Burnsville Killing
The Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office said on August 14 that the three victims of the August 10 killings—a woman, her 7-year-old daughter and a 78-year-old relative—have been identified. Police reported that a 911 call led officers to a home daycare in Hopkins on August 10, where they found the bodies of a man, the woman and the child. The adult male, identified as 41-year-old Nathan Brown, was believed to have stabbed his wife and daughter before shooting himself.
Investigators also linked the incident to the stabbing death of a 78-year-old woman in Burnsville earlier that day. Six other children present were unharmed.
