Zelensky claims Russia deployed North Korean missiles in recent strikes
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said Russia employed North Korean ballistic missiles in overnight strikes that killed at least nine civilians. He had earlier claimed the missiles were used in an attack on Zaporizhzhia that killed six and injured 19, warned that Russia could not sustain its war without North Korean support, and announced that up to 50,000 North Korean troops could be sent to Russia, urging South Korea for air-defence aid. Ukrainian intelligence reported that Russia was stationing a North Korean missile unit in the Voronezh region equipped with up to 120 missiles and six launchers, and earlier said a unit had been deployed to western Russia with similar capabilities.
