Suspect pleads not guilty in Chino Hills kidnapping murder
Jianquan Bo, 66, pleaded not guilty to a murder charge for the July 29 kidnapping and killing of Shukur Aikebaer in Chino Hills, California, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department. Police had identified Aikebaer, a 60-year-old businessman, as the victim and initially named the Bo brothers—Jianquan and his now-deceased sibling Zhengfeng—as suspects after a chase that ended in a shootout in which Zhengfeng was killed. The investigation earlier revealed that Zhengfeng Bo, an Irvine real-estate executive, had abducted Aikebaer before the fatal encounter.
