adults believed the president was neglecting key problems, and that disapproval was rising among Republican and GOP-leaning independent voters, particularly on economic issues, as the party prepares for the 2026 midterms. The same survey also indicated that Democrats led Republicans by eight points among registered voters and enjoyed higher enthusiasm.
