David Jonsson to Play Prince T'Challa II in Scheduled Black Panther Sequel
Marvel Studios announced at San Diego Comic-Con that British actor David Jonsson will portray Prince T'Challa II in the upcoming Black Panther sequel, which is scheduled to open on December 15, with director Ryan Coogler returning to helm the film. Earlier at the same convention, Coogler said the third Black Panther film will debut on December 15, introducing an adult T'Challa played by Jonsson, and Marvel confirmed the release date and that the picture will be shot on 70 mm film. Subsequent reports from Empire, The Independent and other outlets reiterated the casting and the scheduled December 15 opening.
