Packers CEO Rules Out Selling Lambeau Field Naming Rights
Packers chief executive Ed Policy affirmed at the 2026 shareholders meeting that the team will not sell naming rights to Lambeau Field, citing the club’s public-ownership structure and revenue strategy.
At the 2026 shareholders meeting, Packers chief executive Ed Policy told owners that the team will not sell the naming rights to Lambeau Field. > "We are not selling the naming rights to Lambeau Field," Policy said, according to a report. Policy noted that the Packers, as a publicly owned franchise, face different financial pressures than the privately owned clubs that routinely monetize stadium names. He said the organization will instead focus on hosting additional major events at the venue and exploring other revenue options such as higher ticket prices or personal seat licenses. The decision leaves the Packers and Chicago Bears as the only NFL teams whose stadiums lack corporate naming agreements, a distinction the Packers intend to maintain for the foreseeable future.
