United Airlines employee accused of threatening passenger with ICE call
According to NBC Bay Area, a United Airlines customer service representative told a Mexican-American passenger at San Francisco International Airport that immigration officials might be called, prompting an airline investigation. The incident was captured on video that circulated online, showing the employee suggesting the passenger could be reported to immigration authorities during a ticketing dispute. United Airlines said it was reviewing the footage and opened an internal review of the employee’s conduct.
ABC7 Bay Area and CBS News reported that the airline confirmed the matter was under investigation. United indicated it will take appropriate action once the review is completed.
