Astronomers preview upcoming planet visibility, meteor shower and Buck Moon
According to KCCI, astronomers say the upcoming month is set to feature clear views of Mars, Saturn and Venus. They note that a new moon will provide a dark sky ideal for stargazing. The Southern Delta Aquarids meteor shower is expected to begin in the middle of the month. A full Buck Moon will illuminate the sky toward the end of the month.
These events together offer a rich program for skywatchers. Later, WMUR reported that the visibility of the three planets will persist throughout the month. The outlet also highlighted that the meteor shower should reach its peak in mid-month.
