Man dies after falling at Goose concert; family launches GoFundMe
A 51-year-old Connecticut man fell from a balcony during a Goose concert at Madison Square Garden and was pronounced dead at Bellevue Hospital. New York Post reported that the fall occurred from the 300-level balcony. CBS News and other outlets confirmed the location and that he was taken to Bellevue where doctors declared him deceased.
His daughter, Paul Kueker, subsequently launched a GoFundMe campaign to cover funeral costs. The campaign quickly raised over $58,000 toward a $65,000 goal, according to the New York Post. The fundraising effort was highlighted as a way for friends and strangers to contribute to the family's expenses.
