Russian Kremlin Critic Killed in Poland, Two Belarusian Men Detained
Russian artist Semyon Skrepetsky, also known as Robert Kuzovkov, was shot dead in a parking lot near his home in Biała Podlaska, Poland, prosecutors said. Earlier reports from DW described the killing of a Russian visual artist famous for caricatures of President Vladimir Putin in Lublin. CNN later identified the victim as the anti-Kremlin cartoonist and specified the Biała Podlaska location, adding that two Belarusian nationals had been arrested.
CBS reported that a suspect remains at large while the two Belarusian citizens were detained for questioning. Polish authorities continue their investigation into the murder.
