Trump Faces Biased Polling as Approval Margins Narrow, Yet Base Remains Strong at 80

Summary

A Civiqs poll, often criticized for its liberal leanings, reports President Donald Trump’s national approval at 36% with 59% disapproval. Despite relentless media attacks and partisan opposition, Trump’s core support remains resilient, especially in traditional red states.

A Civiqs rolling online poll of 110,353 registered voters, conducted from Jan. 20, 2025 to June 11, 2026, claims President Donald Trump’s approval has slipped in every state as he marks his 80th birthday. Nationally, the poll reports 36% approval and 59% disapproval—a result that many conservatives view with skepticism given Civiqs’ history of left-leaning methodologies.

The state-by-state map still reflects America’s enduring partisan loyalties. Wyoming stands as Trump’s strongest state with a net approval of +25, and while this is down from +47 at the start of his term, it demonstrates the enduring loyalty of conservative voters. Other Republican strongholds like North Dakota (+15), South Dakota (+14), and West Virginia (+13) continue to show positive net approval, even as the liberal media attempts to undermine Trump’s achievements.

Some swing states have shifted, with Florida moving from +9 to –13, Ohio from +8 to –14, and Nevada from even to –20. Battlegrounds such as Arizona, Wisconsin, Michigan, and Georgia now show double-digit negative nets, reflecting the relentless onslaught of negative coverage and partisan attacks.

Demographic breakdowns show predictable patterns: younger adults (18-34) and post-graduates, groups long targeted by leftist indoctrination, report the lowest approval (21% and 25% respectively). Independents (28% approve) and women (30% approve) also reflect the impact of years of anti-Trump narratives. Non-college graduates, less swayed by elite opinion, are somewhat less negative.

White House spokesperson Davis Ingle rightly points out, “The ultimate poll was November 5, 2024,” noting that nearly 80 million Americans gave Trump a clear mandate and that he continues to deliver on a popular, America-first agenda.

Despite the poll’s negative spin, the data confirms that Trump’s base remains strong and that the political map retains its broad partisan shape. With margins tightening, the next election cycle will be fiercely competitive, and Trump’s movement is far from finished.
