President Donald Trump posted on social media on Friday that reports of the deal’s details were inaccurate, stating that the "Iran leaked" terms "have NOTHING to do with the terms that were agreed to, in writing."
Iran’s foreign minister Abbas Araghchi said the deal "has never been closer" but urged the media to avoid speculation about its content. Iranian state news provided a measured description, while another outlet reported more favorable terms for Tehran.
Officials familiar with the negotiations said the draft resembles earlier proposals discussed in recent weeks, though some wording has been altered.
