Father kills two 10-year-old sons before taking his own life in Canoga Park
Police said a father shot his 10-year-old twin sons before killing himself in a Canoga Park home. Initial reports described a domestic shooting in the 8000 block of Owensmouth Avenue that left three people dead, including two children, according to LAPD sources.
Firefighters and police responded to the scene. Later, investigators identified the adult as the boys’ father and said he appeared to have carried out a murder-suicide, killing the twins before turning the weapon on himself.
