North Korea Launched Multiple Ballistic Missiles from Sinpo
North Korea conducted multiple launches of short-range ballistic missiles from Sinpo, sending them into the sea off its eastern coast. The missiles traveled approximately 140 kilometers. These actions prompted condemnation from neighboring countries, including South Korea and Japan, who expressed concerns over regional security. Following the launches, South Korea's Joint Chiefs of Staff and National Security Council held emergency meetings to assess the situation.
The U. S. Indo-Pacific Command and Japan's Defense Ministry also protested the missile tests and reaffirmed their commitment to regional defense and security cooperation in response to North Korea's actions.
