Trump's AI Jesus Image Sparks Controversy and Colbert's Critique
President Donald Trump posted an AI-generated image portraying himself as a Jesus-like figure, which led to widespread criticism from religious leaders and conservative supporters. This action coincided with escalating tensions between Trump and Pope Leo XIV, particularly regarding the Iran conflict. Facing backlash, Trump deleted the image from his social media.
Following these events, late-night host Stephen Colbert humorously criticized Trump's attacks on Pope Leo XIV and his posting of the AI-generated image. The incident sparked broader discussions about the use of AI in political imagery and the nature of Trump's public disputes with religious figures.
