ESA Investigates Loss of Contact with Proba-3 Coronagraph Spacecraft
The European Space Agency (ESA) is investigating an anomaly that caused the Proba-3 Coronagraph spacecraft to lose communication. Initially, an onboard issue led to the loss of contact with the spacecraft. Subsequently, ESA began efforts to restore communication with the Proba-3 Coronagraph. Later reports indicated that the anomaly caused the spacecraft to lose orientation and enter survival mode. The Proba-3 mission involves two spacecraft operating in space: the Coronagraph and the Occulter. ESA's investigation and recovery attempts are ongoing as they work to reestablish control over the Proba-3 Coronagraph spacecraft.
