Hollow Knight: Silksong Set for September 4 Release at $19.99

Team Cherry has announced that Hollow Knight: Silksong, the sequel to the acclaimed 2017 game, will be released on September 4, 2025, priced at $19.99. The game will be available on multiple platforms, including PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC.

The release times are scheduled for 7:00 AM PT, 10:00 AM ET, 4:00 PM CEST, and 11:00 PM JST. Silksong will also be accessible on Xbox Game Pass from day one.

The $19.99 price point reflects a modest increase from the original Hollow Knight's $14.99 launch price in 2017. Team Cherry co-founder Ari Gibson previously stated that the initial pricing aimed to make the game accessible to a broad audience.

Hollow Knight: Silksong follows the character Hornet as she explores the new kingdom of Pharloom, featuring expanded gameplay, a larger world, and a quest system.
