Crimson Desert System Requirements and Pre-Order Details Announced
Pearl Abyss has released system requirements and pre-order information for the upcoming RPG, Crimson Desert, set to launch on March 19, 2026.
Pearl Abyss has announced that its open-world RPG, Crimson Desert, will launch on March 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PC, and Mac. The game is available for pre-order in several editions: the Standard Edition at $69.99, the Digital Deluxe Edition at $79.99, and a Physical Collector's Edition priced at $279.99, which includes a 17-inch diorama and an in-game Ultimate Pack.
The developer has also detailed the system requirements for various platforms. For PC, the minimum specifications include an AMD Ryzen 5 2600X or Intel i5-8500 processor, 16 GB of RAM, and an AMD Radeon RX 5500 XT or NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 GPU. Recommended specifications suggest an AMD Ryzen 5 5600 or Intel i5-11600K processor, 16 GB of RAM, and an AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT or NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 GPU. All configurations require Windows 10 64-bit and 150 GB of SSD storage.
For PlayStation 5, the game offers multiple performance modes: Performance mode targets 1080p at 60 FPS with low ray tracing quality, Balanced mode upscales to 4K from 1280p at 40 FPS with low ray tracing, and Quality mode upscales to 4K from 1440p at 30 FPS with high ray tracing.
On Xbox Series X, Performance mode targets 1080p at 60 FPS with low ray tracing, Balanced mode upscales to 4K from 1280p at 40 FPS with low ray tracing, and Quality mode upscales to 4K from 1440p at 30 FPS with high ray tracing.
The Mac version requires macOS 15.0 or later, with minimum specifications including an Apple M2 Pro, M3, or M4 processor, 16 GB of RAM, and 150 GB of storage. Recommended specifications suggest an Apple M3 Pro, M4 Pro, or M5 processor.
Pre-order bonuses include the exclusive Khaled Shield for all editions. PlayStation 5 pre-orders also receive the Grotevant Plate Set.
Crimson Desert is set in the fantasy world of Pywel and follows the journey of a mercenary named Kliff. The game emphasizes a premium experience without microtransactions or cosmetic cash shops.
