Powerball Jackpot Reaches $1.1 Billion After No Winner in Saturday's Drawing
The Powerball jackpot has climbed to an estimated $1.1 billion following Saturday's drawing without a grand prize winner, marking the second-largest jackpot this year.
The Powerball jackpot has surged to an estimated $1.1 billion after no ticket matched all six numbers in Saturday night's drawing. This marks the second-largest jackpot of the year and the sixth-largest in the game's history.
The winning numbers drawn were 1, 28, 31, 57, 58, and the red Powerball 16. While the grand prize remained unclaimed, seven tickets nationwide matched all five white balls, earning their holders $1 million each.
The next drawing is scheduled for Monday night at 10:59 p.m. ET, offering players another chance at the growing jackpot. Tickets are available for purchase in 45 states, Washington D.C., Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
Powerball drawings are held three times a week—on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays. Players select five numbers from 1 to 69 and one Powerball number from 1 to 26. The odds of winning the jackpot are approximately 1 in 292.2 million.
The largest Powerball jackpot to date was $2.04 billion, won by a single ticket in California on November 7, 2022.
As the jackpot grows, lottery officials remind players to play responsibly and to check their tickets carefully, as many prizes go unclaimed.
