Emmys to Feature Reba McEntire Dolly Parton Tribute and Star-Studded Presenter Lineup

Summary

The 78th Emmy Awards will honor Dolly Parton with a tribute performed by Reba McEntire and include a wide array of presenters ranging from Baywatch reboot cast members to veteran actors.

The 78th Emmy Awards, set for Sept. 14 at NBC's Peacock Theater, will include a tribute to the late Dolly Parton. Country music star Reba McEntire, a longtime friend of Parton and star of NBC's Happy's Place, will perform the homage.

The ceremony will also feature a Catherine O’Hara tribute with Macaulay Culkin, Dan Levy and Annie Murphy, a 50th-anniversary Charlie’s Angels reunion, and a 30th-anniversary Buffy the Vampire Slayer reunion. Noah Kahan is slated to sing “Bridge Over Troubled Water” for the In Memoriam segment.

Mariska Hargitay will host, while the presenter roster expands to include the cast of Fox’s upcoming Baywatch reboot—Stephen Amell, Noah Beck, Jessica Belkin, Hassie Harrison, Thaddeus LaGrone and Brooks Nader—who will present awards and promote the series. LL Cool J and Scott Caan, Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson, and Julia Garner are also listed as presenters.

Jamie Lee Curtis will serve triple duties as presenter, co-star and executive producer of NBC’s Newlyweds, and is a Guest Actress Emmy nominee for The Bear. Shailene Woodley, the only guest-acting winner from the previous weekend, will also present. Additional presenters include Awkwafina, John Mulaney, Emma D’Arcy, Emmy Rossum, Sofía Vergara and a host of previously announced stars such as Zendaya, Florence Pugh and Sally Field.

Executive producers for the telecast are Jesse Collins, Dionne Harmon, Jeannae Rouzan-Clay of Jesse Collins Entertainment and Mariska Hargitay.
