Alan Ritchson and Catherine Ritchson said they are ending their marriage after two decades and will focus on co-parenting their three sons.
Alan Ritchson and his wife Catherine Ritchson announced they are ending their marriage after 20 years together. The couple, who met as teenagers, posted a joint statement on Instagram on Sept. 12, saying they will continue to support each other in a different way.
"After twenty years together, Cat and I have decided to end our marriage and continue alongside one another in a different way," they wrote.
They noted that they share three sons—Calem, 13, Edan, 12, and Amory, 10—and emphasized that their priority is co-parenting and personal growth.
"The best gift we can give one another—and our boys—right now is friendship, grace and commitment to becoming the strongest co-parents we can be," the statement added.
The pair said they will give each other space to develop as individuals while maintaining love and respect.
