Zelda 40th Anniversary Switch 2 Resells on eBay for Up to £730
Nintendo's limited-edition Zelda Switch 2 sold out within hours, and resale listings on eBay are appearing at prices up to roughly £730, well above the original retail price.
Nintendo's limited-edition Legend of Zelda 40th-anniversary Switch 2 was listed for pre-order at about £435, £15 more than the standard Switch 2, and sold out almost immediately after pre-orders opened. The company has not yet offered the special edition through its own store nor announced any restock before the console's launch on 29 October.
According to market monitoring, third-party sellers have begun posting the console on eBay with asking prices ranging from roughly $700 to $985 (about £520-£730). Some listings combine the console with the upcoming Ocarina of Time remake, although Nintendo has not marketed any such bundle.
The Zelda-themed Switch 2 will be released a week before the Ocarina of Time remake, which is scheduled for 5 November.
