Samsung Expands One UI 8 Beta Program to Galaxy S23 Series
Samsung has extended its One UI 8 beta program, based on Android 16, to include the Galaxy S23 series, offering users early access to new features and improvements.
Samsung has expanded its One UI 8 beta program to include the Galaxy S23 series, allowing users to experience Android 16 ahead of its official release. The beta program, which began with the Galaxy S25 series in May, now encompasses the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Fold6, and Galaxy Z Flip6, with plans to extend to additional devices in the coming weeks.
One UI 8 introduces enhanced AI capabilities, a redesigned Quick Share interface for more efficient file sharing, and updates to core Samsung applications such as Internet, Reminders, and Health.
To participate in the beta program, Galaxy S23 users can register through the Samsung Members app. After enrollment, the beta firmware can be downloaded by navigating to Settings > Software Update > Download and Install.
Samsung advises users to back up their data before installing the beta software, as unexpected behavior may lead to data loss.
The official release of One UI 8 is scheduled to commence with the Galaxy S25 series later this month, followed by a broader rollout to other eligible devices.
