Nathan Fielder's Documentary on Elizabeth Holmes Premieres at Telluride
Comedian Nathan Fielder and director Lance Oppenheim debuted their documentary about Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes at the Telluride Film Festival, with a theatrical release planned for October.
A documentary co-directed by comedian Nathan Fielder and filmmaker Lance Oppenheim premiered at the Telluride Film Festival on Sunday. The film, titled "You Can See Everything," follows Elizabeth Holmes in the weeks before her imprisonment and expands into a three-year narrative about her rise and fall. The project, produced by A24, will be released in theaters in October. A teaser trailer released alongside the secret screening shows Holmes and Fielder in a tense conversation, during which Holmes says, "I don’t have anything to deceive you on. Of course I’m not deceiving you. I’m engaging with you as a human being. Why would I deceive you? There’s no reason for me to do that."
"OK. Alright. OK, good chat," Fielder replies, adding, "You’re being real right now?" "I’m always being real," Holmes responds. Fielder is known for the television series "Nathan For You" and "The Rehearsal," while Oppenheim previously directed the documentary "Some Kind of Heaven" and the recent film "Primetime," which premiered in Venice.
