President Trump's hair appears darker in recent airport photos, prompting online speculation

Photos released on Saturday showed President Donald Trump stepping off Air Force One in Morristown, New Jersey, with hair that looks darker than his usual blonde shade. The images, taken as he waved to reporters before heading to his Bedminster golf club, have sparked a wave of commentary online.

Journalist Aaron Rupar questioned the change on the platform X, asking what is happening with the president's hair. Other commentators, including lawyer George Conway, suggested the alteration might warrant action under the Twenty-Fifth Amendment, while former Republican congressman Adam Kinzinger expressed disbelief in an all-caps tweet.

Several media figures and social-media users made light-hearted remarks, with journalist Molly Jong-Fast noting the president now appears brunette and novelist Anne Lamott likening the look to actor Pierce Brosnan. The Independent contacted the White House for comment but had not received a response at the time of publication.

The president's hair has attracted attention before; last month, images from a Las Vegas speech showed a brighter, fuller blonde style, prompting similar online debate. During a recent Rose Garden address, Trump said, "For years, I had to suffer with people saying, ‘He wears a wig.’ I don’t wear a wig."
