Tim Curry's death attributed to coronary artery disease
Los Angeles County health officials say actor Tim Curry died from coronary artery disease, with stroke and kidney cancer also noted as contributing factors.
Los Angeles County Department of Public Health records show that actor Tim Curry died of coronary artery disease at his Toluca Lake home last week. The documents also list a prior stroke and kidney cancer as significant conditions that contributed to his death. Curry, 80, had been confined to a wheelchair after suffering a stroke in 2012. > "Curry was best known for his role as Dr. Frank-N-Furter in The Rocky Horror Picture Show and earned three Tony nominations for Spamalot, My Favorite Year and Amadeus, as well as an Emmy nomination in 1994," the report noted. His film work included appearances in Home Alone 2: Lost in New York, Clue and Annie. The Associated Press contributed to the report.
