Amazon offers pre-order discounts on Apple’s 2026 Mac mini

Summary

Amazon has announced price reductions for pre-ordering Apple’s upcoming 2026 Mac mini, including two M6-chip models and an M5 Pro version, ahead of the device’s September 22 launch.

Amazon is providing pre-order price cuts on Apple’s 2026 Mac mini, which is slated to launch on September 22. The retailer lists a 16 GB RAM/256 GB SSD model with the new M6 chip at $879.99, down from $899, and a 16 GB RAM/512 GB SSD version at $1,069.99, reduced from $1,099. Both configurations feature Apple’s latest M6 processor, which Apple says delivers up to 40% faster CPU performance, up to four times faster AI processing, twice the graphics speed, and double the storage throughput compared with the prior-generation model equipped with a 10-core M4 chip, 32 GB of unified memory and 2 TB of storage. Amazon also offers a $29 discount on the Mac mini equipped with the M5 Pro chip.

"The Mac mini with the M6 chip delivers up to 40% faster CPU performance, up to 4× faster performance for AI tasks in particular, up to 2× faster graphics performance, and up to 2× faster storage speeds compared to the previous-generation model," Apple stated.

The discounts are available for customers who place pre-orders through Amazon before the official release date.
