Samsung expands Android 17/One UI 9 beta to additional Galaxy models
Samsung announced that its Android 17-based One UI 9 beta will be offered to more 2025 Galaxy devices, including the S25 series and newer Fold and Flip phones, via the Samsung Members app in select markets.
Samsung said its Android 17-based One UI 9 beta program will be extended to additional 2025 Galaxy smartphones. The rollout will cover the Galaxy S25, S25+, S25 Ultra and S25 FE, as well as the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7. The beta will be available as an opt-in through the Samsung Members app in India, South Korea, the United States and the United Kingdom, with the expansion expected to begin in September.
The One UI 9 interface is already pre-installed on the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Flip 8, while the Galaxy S26 series has been testing the beta for several months. Samsung indicated that the broader release suggests the stable version of Android 17 is approaching.
"Following the expansion of the One UI 9 beta with the Galaxy S26 series in May, the program will roll out to more devices starting in September," a Samsung spokesperson said. Users in the listed regions can sign up for the beta via the Samsung Members app.
