Michigan Senate Candidate Abdul El-Sayed Calls Vice President JD Vance Hypocritical After Personal Attacks

सारांश

Democratic Senate nominee Abdul El-Sayed accused Vice President JD Vance of hypocrisy following Vance’s recent remarks labeling El-Sayed “evil” and demanding he stop mentioning Vance’s wife, amid a heated campaign in Michigan.

Democratic nominee Abdul El-Sayed said Vice President JD Vance and President Donald Trump were acting hypocritically after Vance described El-Sayed as “evil” at a recent rally and told him to stop mentioning Vance’s wife, Usha, in public statements.

El-Sayed, who appeared on the “Allen Analysis Show” podcast in April, referenced Usha Vance in a discussion about the personal nature of the campaign, noting that both candidates have children of mixed heritage. He emphasized his own support for his children, describing them as “just as American as everyone else,” and suggested Vance holds different views about his own children.

“I realize there’s something about Abdul El-Sayed that is very, very evil and on the rise in the United States of America today,” Vance said at a rally on Monday.

El-Sayed also revived a long-discredited claim that Vance wrote about a sexual encounter with a couch, telling reporters the allegation was false. Michigan’s Senate race is considered a toss-up, with a recent poll showing El-Sayed ahead of Republican challenger Mike Rogers by four points, though 10% of respondents remain undecided.
