Taylor Swift and Travis Kelke Face Limited Time Together After Wedding

Summary

Sources say the newlyweds are struggling to find time for each other as Kelke returns to football training while Swift maintains a busy schedule.

Taylor Swift and Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce have spent little time together since their July 3 wedding at Madison Square Garden, a source told the Daily Mail. Kelke left the couple’s private honeymoon early to attend training camp and preseason duties ahead of the 2026 NFL season, leaving the pair to coordinate their schedules across the country.

"She is frustrated because football is taking up so much of his time – he works overtime – causing them to not see each other a ton, and she would like more," the source said.

The source added that the couple maintains daily communication through phone calls, texts and video chats, and that Kelke occasionally sends Swift flowers when she is traveling. Both acknowledge the demands of their respective careers and have agreed to give each other space.

Swift has been focused on studio work and public appearances in Los Angeles and London, while Kelke continues his football commitments. The insider noted that Swift misses shared activities such as morning workouts and cooking together, but understands Kelke’s need to train.

"She knew he would be at practice after they got married. She knew the honeymoon would be short so she can't complain at all, and she doesn't want to guilt Travis," the source said.

Despite the limited time together, the couple reportedly remains enthusiastic about their marriage and continues to refer to each other as husband and wife.
