Summary

The inaugural Daisy Chain Fields festival in Irvine showcased performances by Olivia Rodrigo, Stevie Nicks, Alanis Morissette and Sarah McLachlan, and raised $20 million for women's and girls' advocacy groups.

Olivia Rodrigo headlined the first Daisy Chain Fields music festival in Irvine, California, on August 30, delivering a set that included a duet of "Landslide" with Stevie Nicks. Nicks praised Rodrigo, saying she reminded her of herself at a similar age and expressed admiration for Rodrigo's ability to organize the event.

"She reminds me of me, when I was her age a hundred years ago," Nicks told the audience. The show also featured Alanis Morissette, who performed "Ironic" with Rodrigo, and Sarah McLachlan, who joined the headliner for "Building a Mystery" and "Angel," the latter dedicated to Dolly Parton. Additional acts on the bill included Chappell Roan, Bikini Kill, Doechii, Mitski, the Breeders, Santigold, Quiet Light and Eli. Ticket revenue and a matching donation from philanthropist Melinda Gates generated $20 million for nonprofit organizations supporting women and girls, including the Center for Reproductive Rights, Planned Parenthood and Johns Hopkins Center for Indigenous Health.
