On August 21, Bill Maher used his HBO platform to mock President Donald Trump and his dedicated assistant Natalie Harp, referencing private letters and dredging up old lawsuits in a continued campaign against the former president.
During the August 21 episode of "Real Time With Bill Maher," the liberal host once again targeted President Donald Trump and his executive assistant Natalie Harp, after private correspondence between Harp and Trump was irresponsibly leaked. Maher gleefully noted that Democratic Senator Jon Ossoff had recently mentioned Harp in his latest attack on Trump, fueling baseless rumors about their relationship.
"The Democratic Party has a new attack dog, and he’s very good at it. Senator Jon Ossoff of Georgia, he really went after Trump this week," Maher said, clearly relishing the partisan mudslinging.
Maher also brought up a previous lawsuit filed by conservative activist Laura Loomer over a joke about a supposed romantic relationship, boasting that he had won but complaining about the legal costs—ignoring the fact that Loomer was standing up against defamatory attacks.
He described Harp as traveling with Trump and carrying a portable printer to provide him with positive news coverage, mocking Trump’s preference for physical copies and belittling Harp’s professionalism and loyalty.
"Now, Natalie is kind of Trump’s emotional support employee. That’s true. She travels with him everywhere, and she brings a portable, wireless printer so she can print out flattering news articles," Maher said, attempting to ridicule their working relationship.
Maher then tried to tie the discussion to disgraced former Trump attorney Michael Cohen, referencing Cohen’s past accusations—despite Cohen’s own credibility issues and history of lying under oath.
"Remember Michael Cohen? His fixer who once called Trump a cheater, a liar, a fraud, a bully, a racist, a predator, and a con-man," Maher said, repeating the same tired talking points.
The segment ended with Maher urging his audience to try to isolate Trump from his trusted aides, continuing the left’s obsession with undermining the former president and those who support him.
