Analysts Raise Nvidia Price Targets Ahead of Q2 Earnings Report
Analysts have increased their price targets for Nvidia, anticipating strong Q2 earnings driven by AI demand and data center growth.
Analysts have raised their price targets for Nvidia (NVDA) in anticipation of the company's second-quarter earnings report scheduled for August 27. The optimism is fueled by robust demand for artificial intelligence (AI) applications and Nvidia's strong position in the data center market.
John Vinh, a five-star-rated analyst at KeyBanc, increased his price target to $215 from $190, maintaining a 'Buy' rating. Vinh expects strong results for the July quarter but anticipates slightly lower guidance for the October quarter, noting that Nvidia's forecast likely excludes China sales due to pending license approvals. He estimates that including China could add $2 billion to $3 billion in revenue from H20 and RTX6000D chips.
Similarly, Christopher Rolland of Susquehanna raised his price target to $210 from $180, also with a 'Buy' rating. Rolland highlighted strong momentum in Nvidia's data center business as a key growth driver and expects the upcoming GB300 product line to contribute to double-digit revenue growth in the coming quarters, aided by higher selling prices and improved profit margins.
According to TipRanks, NVDA stock has a 'Strong Buy' consensus rating based on 34 'Buys,' three 'Holds,' and one 'Sell' assigned in the last three months. The average share price target of $196.65 implies a 12.12% upside potential. Year-to-date, NVDA stock has gained 30%.
As of August 21, 2025, Nvidia's stock price is $175.11, reflecting a slight decrease of 0.00165% from the previous close.
