Julia Stiles confirmed for Season 35 of Dancing With the Stars
Actress Julia Stiles will join the upcoming Season 35 of Dancing With the Stars, which premieres on September 15, ABC and Disney+.
Actress Julia Stiles is set to compete in Season 35 of the ballroom competition series Dancing With the Stars, which begins airing on September 15 on ABC and Disney+. The former "Save the Last Dance" star will vie for the Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy alongside other celebrities whose full lineup will be revealed on September 2 on Good Morning America.
Stiles, who has appeared in films such as "10 Things I Hate About You," the "Bourne" franchise and "Silver Linings Playbook," previously expressed admiration for the show, describing it as her version of "Monday Night Football" in a 2025 interview with People. She said she often watches past episodes on YouTube and follows her favorite choreographers, though she noted that living in New York City could make participation challenging.
ABC declined to comment on the casting, and the network typically does not respond to casting rumors. Confirmed participants for the season include reality personalities Ciara Miller, Maura Higgins, Jackson Olson and Guillermo Rodriguez. Judges Derek Hough, Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli are expected to return.
"I’ll go down YouTube rabbit holes of watching old videos, and I have my favorite choreographers," Stiles said in the People interview.
Additional rumored contestants have been reported by various outlets, but the official roster will be announced in early September.
