Philadelphia woman says she kicked masked individual resembling horror character
A woman in Philadelphia confronted a man wearing a mask modeled after the horror film character Chucky and kicked him in the chest, police said the suspect remains at large.
A Philadelphia resident identified only as Jameka told local TV station ABC7 that she intervened when she saw a masked individual chasing another person on a city street. She said she approached the man, who was wearing a costume resembling the doll from the "Child's Play" movies, and attempted to test his reaction. According to Jameka, the man appeared uncertain and raised his fists before she delivered a kick to his chest, after which he fled the scene.
Philadelphia Police Department Captain Jason Smith said officers continue to investigate the incidents involving the masked individual, describing the suspect as a thin Black male, about 5 feet 8 inches tall and estimated to be between 16 and 20 years old. Smith indicated that the suspect could face charges that may include terroristic threats, harassment, simple assault, reckless endangerment and intimidation.
