Google launches Pixel 11 lineup with new chipset and pricing changes

Summary

Google announced the Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL and Pixel 11 Pro Fold, available for pre-order now and shipping from August 20, with revised memory options and updated camera and charging specs.

Google unveiled four new Pixel 11 models – the standard Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL and Pixel 11 Pro Fold – and opened pre-orders ahead of their August 20 launch. The lineup replaces the previous 128 GB base variant with 256 GB models, and the Pro versions now pair 12 GB of RAM with 256 GB storage, dropping the 16 GB/256 GB configuration.

All models feature the Tensor G6 processor. The standard Pixel 11 retains a battery size similar to the Pixel 10 but upgrades magnetic Pixelsnap charging to 25 W (wired charging remains at 30 W). Its main camera uses a larger 48 MP 1/1.56-inch sensor, up from the Pixel 10’s 1/2.0-inch unit.

The Pixel 11 Pro adds a 50 MP 1/1.3-inch primary sensor, a 48 MP telephoto lens with 5× optical zoom, and a 48 MP ultra-wide lens, while its 6.3-inch LTPO display is sharper than the non-Pro model. The Pro XL mirrors these specs with a larger 6.8-inch screen and a 5,115 mAh battery, supporting 45 W wired charging.

The Pixel 11 Pro Fold offers a 6.5-inch cover display and an 8.0-inch inner screen. Its main camera adopts the same 48 MP 1/1.56-inch sensor as the standard model, and the device’s thickness and weight have been reduced compared with the previous generation, though it remains heavier than competing foldables.

Pricing varies by region. In the United States, the base Pixel 11 starts at $899 for the 12 GB/256 GB configuration, while the Pro starts at $1,099 for 12 GB/256 GB and $1,219 for 16 GB/256 GB. The Pro XL begins at $1,299 for 12 GB/256 GB and $1,419 for 16 GB/256 GB. The Pro Fold is priced from $1,499 for the 12 GB/256 GB variant. Comparable price tiers are listed for Canada, the EU and the UK.
