Former 'The Challenge' contestant Tyler Duckworth found dead in bathtub in North Dakota
Police say Tyler Duckworth, 44, was discovered unresponsive in an overflowing bathtub during a welfare check, and preliminary findings show no signs of homicide.
Grand Forks police responded to a welfare check at the North Dakota apartment of former "The Challenge" competitor Tyler Duckworth around 11:45 a.m. on Tuesday after a neighbor reported water leaking from the unit. Officers and a maintenance worker found an overflowing bathtub containing Duckworth's body. > "We found no outward signs of trauma, such as gunshot or stab wounds," a police spokesperson said, adding that early investigations do not indicate a homicide. The cause of death will be determined by an autopsy. Police confirmed the death was initially classified as unattended, meaning no one witnessed it, and they have spoken with Duckworth's mother, though they could not verify any medical history. Duckworth, 44, was known for his appearances on MTV's "The Challenge," winning the "Cutthroat" season in 2010 and "Rivals" in 2011, after first appearing on "The Real World: Key West" in 2006 and later returning for the series' All Stars edition.
