The U.S. Department of Agriculture announced a Class I recall of roughly 30,000 pounds of raw beef distributed to retail outlets in Florida and Texas. The recall involves products from Corte Argentino USA LLC that were imported from Argentina without a required import reinspection, according to the agency's Food Safety Inspection Service (FSIS).
The affected meat was produced between May 15 and May 20, 2026, and carries sell-by dates from September 15 to September 20, 2026. Items are packaged in cardboard boxes labeled with the brand "FrigorIfico Gorina SAIC" and include boneless cuts such as Top Sirloin Butt, Eye Round, Topside Cap Off, Flat, and Knuckle.
No illnesses have been reported, but the USDA advises consumers to discard the product or return it to the place of purchase. The agency provided a contact number (786-350-5805) and email ([email protected]) for the manufacturer. Anyone who has consumed the recalled beef and experiences health concerns should seek medical attention.
