During a LIV Golf tournament at his Trump National course in Bedminster, New Jersey, the 80-year-old former president was seen with visible bruises on his forearms.
President Donald Trump was photographed on Saturday at the LIV Golf New York tournament held at his Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, New Jersey. While wearing a polo shirt that left his forearms exposed, he displayed several bruises of different sizes and a few minor scrapes, as well as Band-Aids on two fingers of his right hand, which he rested on his knee.
In prior statements, White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt attributed bruising on Trump’s hands to frequent hand-shaking, noting that the former president meets many Americans daily. When bruising appeared on his left forearm, Trump later cited his daily aspirin use and a diagnosis of chronic venous insufficiency as possible causes.
White House spokesperson Davis Ingle has maintained that Trump is in good health, describing him as “the sharpest, most accessible, and energetic president in American history.” Some medical observers, however, have raised questions about his overall health, citing reports of swollen limbs, sleepiness, slurred speech, and occasional confusion.
Trump has previously claimed to have performed well on cognitive assessments, describing the results as evidence of his “extreme intelligence.”
