Reality TV star Milania Giudice gets wrist tattoo honoring friend Victoria Zardoya who died in Florida accident
Milania Giudice posted a new tattoo dedicated to her childhood friend Victoria Zardoya, who died after a fall on Egmont Key, Florida, prompting tributes from the Giudice family.
Milania Giudice, a cast member of "The Real Housewives of New Jersey," shared a photo of a new wrist tattoo that reads "Baby V" on Instagram Stories on Aug. 3. The tattoo honors her childhood friend Victoria Zardoya, who died at age 20 following a fall while exploring the historic ruins at Fort Dade on Egmont Key, an island near Tampa Bay.
Zardoya's death was reported by her friend Victoria Silberbusch, who said the incident occurred on July 24 and that rescue efforts included calling 911 and using flares from nearby boats. Zardoya was airlifted to a hospital but succumbed to her injuries on July 26.
Giudice posted a caption expressing her grief and posted several photos of herself with Zardoya. Her parents, Joe and Teresa Giudice, and sisters Gia and Audriana also posted tributes on social media, describing Zardoya as a close family friend and noting the tragedy of her loss.
"Always my baby V," Giudice wrote alongside the tattoo image. "We were neighbors for years, and you became part of our family. I can't believe you're gone," her father Joe Giudice said in his Instagram message.
The family’s statements emphasized their personal connection to Zardoya and the impact of her untimely death.
