San Francisco wide receiver Mike Evans said he expects Deebo Samuel to provide significant impact after the player rejoined the 49ers. Speaking to reporters, Evans noted that Samuel’s style of play and versatility will benefit the team, describing the acquisition as a strong addition.
Samuel, who spent his first six seasons with the 49ers before being traded to Washington, recorded 72 receptions for 727 yards and five touchdowns, along with 17 rushes for 75 yards and one rushing touchdown in 2025. In his 2024 season with the 49ers, he posted 51 catches for 670 yards and three touchdowns, plus 42 carries for 136 yards and a rushing touchdown.
