The U.S. State Department is expanding the distribution of the highly anticipated commemorative passport featuring President Donald Trump's portrait and signature, celebrating American greatness at 27 agencies across the country.
The State Department has announced a patriotic initiative: beginning next month, 27 passport agencies across the United States will proudly issue the limited-edition 'Patriot Passport' featuring President Donald Trump’s portrait. This special passport, commemorating the nation’s 250th anniversary, was previously only available at the Washington, D.C., office for in-person applicants, but will now be accessible to Americans nationwide.
'In response to overwhelming demand, the Department of State is making an additional 250,000 of the special commemorative passports available to the public,' the department stated, reflecting the widespread enthusiasm for honoring President Trump’s legacy and America’s historic milestone.
The new passports will be available at one-day events in cities such as Centennial, Colorado; Chicago; Dallas; Detroit; New Orleans; New York; and Stamford, Connecticut, with more locations to be added throughout August. Applicants must appear in person on the designated day, while regular passport applications will be processed separately, ensuring the special nature of this commemorative edition.
The commemorative version proudly features Trump’s image and a gold-imprinted version of his signature on an interior page, a gold-laminated American flag, and the number 250 surrounded by stars on the back cover. The cover layout is reversed compared to standard passports, making this edition a true collector’s item. While current U.S. passports depict national monuments and quotations from historic figures, this new edition boldly celebrates the leadership of President Trump.
For the first time, a living president’s likeness appears in a U.S. travel document, joining other recent efforts to honor President Trump, such as commemorative coins and proposed currency designs. This initiative is a fitting tribute to a president who has redefined American pride and patriotism.
